Averix Karts ships premium go karts and industrial payload drones to buyers in Italy: private owners, dealers, venues, contractors and public-sector teams. This page covers what is specific to buying for Italy: power supply for electric karts, the drone regulator, shipping routes and the import steps to plan for.
Buying go karts for Italy
Go karts are used on private land, tracks and licensed venues, not public roads. Products placed on the EU market generally need CE conformity documentation, and the importer has responsibilities under EU product law. Ask us for the documentation available for your production batch before you order, and check with your customs broker or a compliance consultant for your use case.
Power supply for electric karts. Mains electricity in Italy is 230 V, 50 Hz, with plug types C, F, L. We supply chargers matched to your mains supply and plug, so tell us the destination when you order. Commercial venues charging a fleet should have an electrician check circuit capacity before the karts arrive.
Petrol karts need no charging infrastructure, but check local rules on fuel storage at commercial venues.
All three models in our range, the AX-964 Classic Speedster, the AX-964 Classic Coupe and the AX-GT Track Edition, can be ordered as single units or in mixed wholesale containers.
Buying payload drones for Italy
The aviation authority for drones in Italy is Ente Nazionale per l'Aviazione Civile (ENAC).
Italy applies the EU drone framework (Regulations (EU) 2019/945 and 2019/947), administered nationally by Ente Nazionale per l'Aviazione Civile (ENAC). The open category only covers aircraft under 25 kg maximum take-off weight flown within strict limits, so most of our heavy-lift drones will be operated in the specific category with an operational authorisation, usually based on a risk assessment (SORA) or a pre-defined risk assessment (PDRA). Operators must register, and remote pilots need the competency certificates for their category. See EASA's drone pages for the framework.
Rules change, and this summary is a starting point, not legal advice. Confirm your exact operation with Ente Nazionale per l'Aviazione Civile (ENAC) before you buy. Our resources page collects links to aviation authorities and industry bodies.
Batteries. Drone and electric-kart lithium batteries ship as Class 9 dangerous goods (UN3480 / UN3481). We prepare the dangerous-goods documentation and packaging. Your freight forwarder and the receiving port or airport handle them under those rules.

Shipping to Italy
Main container ports: Genoa, La Spezia, Gioia Tauro, Trieste.
How a typical order runs:
- Quote. Tell us the products, quantities and your city or port. We quote the goods plus your choice of Incoterms (EXW, FOB or CIF, and DDP where available).
- Confirmation and production. Standard models are produced or allocated from stock. Custom colours and OEM branding need artwork approval first.
- Pre-shipment check. We send photos of your units and packing before dispatch.
- Freight. Full or shared containers by sea, or air or express for small, urgent orders where dangerous-goods rules allow.
- Customs clearance in Italy. Your customs broker clears the goods and pays duties and local taxes (unless you choose DDP). We provide the commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading or air waybill, and dangerous-goods declarations.
Your customs broker will confirm the tariff classification and duty rates that apply in Italy. Ask them early, because duties and taxes affect your landed cost.
