How international shipping works

Incoterms

We commonly quote EXW (you collect from us), FOB (we deliver to the departure port), CIF (we pay sea freight and insurance to your port) and, for some destinations, DDP (delivered with duties paid). See the ICC's Incoterms explanation for the full definitions.

Sea, air or express

• Sea freight (full or shared container) is the usual choice for go karts and large drone orders.
• Air freight suits small urgent orders, subject to dangerous-goods rules for lithium batteries.
• Express couriers suit spare parts and small items. Many restrict large lithium batteries.

Lithium batteries

Electric kart and drone batteries ship as Class 9 dangerous goods (UN3480/UN3481), with compliant packaging, labels and declarations. We prepare them, and your forwarder handles them under the same rules.

Customs and duties

Under EXW, FOB and CIF, the buyer clears customs and pays import duties and local taxes. Ask a local customs broker to confirm the tariff classification and duties before you order, because these affect your landed cost.

Restricted markets

Some countries restrict or license drone imports. India has prohibited import of complete foreign-made drones since 2022, with limited exemptions, and several Middle Eastern and Asian markets require prior approval. Check before ordering.
