The THEA 190MP is an eight-axis coaxial octocopter rated for a 50 kg payload, with a rated flight time of 20 minutes. It is a short-to-medium-range heavy lifter, best suited to repeated shuttles that move a lot of material over a short distance: up a hillside, across a river, onto a building, or between points on a large industrial site.

The shuttle workhorse

Many heavy-lift jobs are not long-distance flights. They are dozens of short flights, each saving workers a hard, slow or dangerous carry. The 190MP fits that pattern. A typical cycle looks like this:

  1. Load at the staging point
  2. Fly a few hundred metres to the drop point
  3. Release or set down the load
  4. Return, swap the battery if needed, and repeat

Plan your battery count around that cycle. With enough packs on charge, a crew can keep the aircraft working through the day. When you request a quote, tell us your typical distance and load and we will size the battery and charger set for you.

Coaxial octocopter design

Like its bigger sibling, the THEA 200MP, the 190MP uses four arms with two counter-rotating rotors on each. That gives eight motors' worth of thrust in a compact frame and more margin than a basic quadcopter if a motor or propeller develops a problem. The four-arm frame is also easier to load into a vehicle and land on cramped sites.

Choosing between the 190MP and the 200MP

Best forRepeated short shuttlesHeavier loads and longer missions

If most of your loads are under 30 to 40 kg and your flights are short, the 190MP is the more economical choice. If you regularly need more than 50 kg, or longer endurance, look at the 200MP.

Regulations and operations

At 50 kg payload, the 190MP is well outside "open" or hobby rules almost everywhere. Plan for operator registration, qualified pilots and a specific operational approval. See our resources page and the country notes on our shipping pages.

Key features

50 kg lift

Enough to move equipment, materials and relief supplies in a single flight.

Eight-motor coaxial layout

Two rotors per arm for thrust density and added margin.

Short-hop specialist

Its 20-minute rated flight suits repeated short shuttles: up a slope, across a river, onto a roof.

Transportable footprint

Four arms instead of eight makes transport and confined-site landing easier.

Configurable payload

Hooks, winches, release mechanisms and mounts specified to the job.

Frequently asked questions

How much can the THEA 190MP carry?

It is rated for a maximum payload of 50 kg.

What is the flight time?

The rated flight time is 20 minutes. Actual endurance depends on payload, temperature, wind and battery condition. We confirm figures at your planned load.

Should I choose the 190MP or the 200MP?

Choose the 190MP for repeated short shuttles with loads up to around 50 kg. Choose the 200MP if you need up to 70 kg or longer endurance.

Can it carry a winch or release hook?

Yes. Payload interfaces are configured to order, including cargo hooks and release mechanisms.

Is the 190MP suitable for spraying?

It is a general heavy-lift platform. For crop spraying and seeding we recommend a purpose-built agricultural drone such as the TTA G300.
