What a rescue drone adds
In search and rescue, minutes matter. A drone gives teams an eye in the sky that covers ground faster than people on foot, sees into places they cannot easily reach, and, with the right modules, talks to the casualty and delivers aid before rescuers arrive. Our search and rescue drones are equipped for all three.

The three rescue capabilities
Find
Cameras for searching by day, with searchlights for night operations. Thermal payloads, configured to order, find body heat in darkness, vegetation or cold water.
Communicate
A loudspeaker lets the operator reassure a casualty, give instructions ("stay where you are", "grab the float") and direct people away from danger.
Deliver
A drop release or thrower delivers life rings, flotation devices, rescue lines, radios, first-aid kits, water or thermal blankets.
The models
- MX4-10: 5 kg payload, 10 km range, with loudspeaker, searchlight and thrower. OEM/ODM available for agencies.
- SY800: 2–10 kg payload, 10 km range, 3-axis 1080P/2K camera, plus thrower, loudspeaker and lighting.
- P50: 50 kg payload for heavier rescue loads such as rafts and bulk supplies. See the flight video on its page.
Rescue scenarios
- Water rescue: swimmers in difficulty, people cut off by tides, flood victims
- Mountain and wilderness: lost or injured hikers, climbers stuck on ledges
- Flood and disaster: people stranded on roofs, isolated communities
- Ice rescue: people through ice. Deliver flotation or a line without risking rescuers.
- Night search: searchlight-assisted searches
Building a SAR drone capability
- Integrate with command: drones as part of incident command, not a separate operation
- Train for realism: night, weather, water and stress
- Agree on procedures: airspace coordination with helicopters, communications and data sharing
- Prepare kits: pre-packed drop payloads ready to attach
- Maintain readiness: charged batteries, pre-flight checks, spare aircraft
