The P50 Heavy Lift Drone carries up to 50 kg, enough to change how a job gets done. At that weight, a drone stops being a camera platform and becomes a working transport tool. It can carry tools up a tower, supplies across a flooded river, extinguishing payloads toward a fire line, or spare parts to a remote site that would otherwise mean a day's drive.

Watch the flight demonstration above to see the P50 in the air, then read on for how operators use it and what to plan before you buy.

What a 50 kg payload drone changes

Heavy-lift drones replace three expensive or risky options: sending people on foot with loads, sending vehicles where roads are poor or absent, and chartering helicopters for small loads. With 50 kg per flight, the P50 can move:

  • Construction materials and tools to rooftops, towers and slopes
  • Emergency supplies such as water, food, medical kits and flotation devices
  • Firefighting equipment to locations crews cannot easily reach
  • Spare parts to remote energy, telecom and mining sites
  • Inspection payloads along pipelines and power lines

For many sites the economics are simple. A few round trips by drone can save a day of manual carrying, or a helicopter charter costing far more than the drone.

Mission configurations

The P50 is configured for the mission rather than sold as a one-size platform. Common setups include:

  1. Cargo hook and release. For suspended loads that need to be set down or dropped at the destination.
  2. Rescue drop kit. For releasing life rings, rafts or supply packs to people in difficulty.
  3. Firefighting payloads. For delivering extinguishing payloads or equipment in support of ground crews.
  4. Inspection payload. Cameras and sensors for infrastructure surveys.

Planning a heavy-lift operation

Heavy-lift flying is a professional operation. Before buying, plan for the following:

  • Regulations. In most countries a drone in this weight class falls outside basic hobby or "open" rules. Expect to need operator registration, pilot qualifications and often a specific operational authorisation. In the United States, aircraft of 55 lb (about 25 kg) and over need an exemption beyond standard Part 107 rules. In the EU and UK, heavy-lift operations normally fall in the specific category. Our resources page links to the aviation authorities, and our shipping destination pages name the regulator in each country.
  • Batteries and charging. Heavy-lift flying uses large, high-capacity battery packs. Plan for enough packs and charging capacity to keep flying through a working day.
  • Flight time versus payload. Endurance falls as payload rises. We confirm flight time at your planned load in the quotation.
  • Crew. A heavy-lift operation normally needs at least a pilot and a visual observer or payload handler.

Why buy from Averix Karts

Frequently asked questions

How much can the P50 lift?

The P50 is rated for a maximum payload of 50 kg. Flight time and range fall as payload increases, so we quote endurance at your planned load.

Can the P50 be used for firefighting?

Yes. It can be configured with payloads that support firefighting, such as delivering extinguishing payloads or equipment. Operations must follow your local aviation and emergency-service rules.

Do I need a licence to fly a 50 kg payload drone?

Almost certainly. Most aviation authorities require operator registration, a qualified pilot and a specific operational approval for aircraft in this weight class. See our resources page for links to regulators.

Can you ship the P50 internationally?

Yes. We ship worldwide by sea, air or express where permitted. Lithium batteries are shipped as Class 9 dangerous goods with the required documentation.

Is training available?

Operating documentation comes with every system, and remote setup support and training can be arranged. Ask about this when you request your quote.
